Background almost complete

Last night I finished up the last few stitches on the background.

The missing stitches is a colour I have ran out of. Don't you hate it when that happens!

This is almost all the background done on this page, just a little at the top where her hand is.

Next I will be working on the top bit of background , then the black frame, then moving onto her dress and finishing up with the draping fabric.

To say I am stitching (slowly) Home schooling my Son has been taking up most of my time. BUT...There has been progress, just not enough to warrant a picture. I have been reading your blogs and there is some really beautiful work around at the moment :)

Page 5 Black done

I finished the black on page 5 a few days ago. I love how it is draping and you can now see where the flower is going to be.

Meet our unexpected arrival....

Late last night we found out we are expecting.... a 2yr old Seal point Siamese male. His name is Smokey and his slowly settling in. Our moggie is fine with him but our Silver spotted Bengal has taken a but of a dislike to him.

Page Finish!!!

Don't she look great! I finished this page late last night. Only 5 more pages to go but 3 of them are partials.

Wing finished!

Her wing is now completely finished. Most of the background on the page is done(there is a tiny part under arm, near her boob) then all that's left is to fill in her body and part of the dress, which Im hoping to get done tonight. It took forever to finish her wing. I had marked off parts of the chart I hadn't done and not marked off bits I had. I will soon have a page finish!!
