I was meant to post this a few days ago but completely forgot! This is the first part of her wing. I will be doing it in two or three stages as I am running out of thread left right and centre. Its driving me mad. I have now moved on to her face and part of her hair. Im working in a block of 3X4 so I can concentrate on her pretty face. It may be awhile before I have another update as it is very confetti heavy.
Connor is having some pretty major problems at school. I wont go into detail just yet but we are looking into Home schooling him. If anyone who reads this little blog has any experience (good or bad) of Home schooling can you email me please. a.k.mcgovern@hotmail.co.uk
Esmai is now a very confident walker but has decided that sleep is for the weak.

All the black is done on page 4. I chose the page next to what I had already done as I am excited to see her face.

Yule fairy page 3 FINISH
This is beautiful in real life. Page 3 was finished this morning while the kids ate their breakfasts. I was so close to finishing it last night but I was so tired I could bearly see. Please excuse the hoop marks. Tonight I will be gridding up the next page, but I cant decide to do the left hand page so she has a full face and wing or to move down to the page underneath and then I will have the full length and most of her dress will be done. so hard to choose!

Dress part 1 finished
The colours in this is just amazing! The photos don't do it any justice. When I brought the chart the dress looked grey and white. At the moment there is very little white and I was surprised to find out that it has greens browns and creams and in this picture only about 25stitches of white.
Next I will be working on the chest ,shoulders and face. I will update when I have finished the page, which might be a while as it is very confetti heavy. I am so excited to get started on this bit. I almost started it before I had finished the dress.

Painfully slow progress & MY BIRTHDAY!!!
This little section has been painfully slow. I have worked hours and hours on it and still struggle to see any progress on the background. So I thought sod it and decided to move onto the wrap that's very nicely draped over her arm. Now I have to go back and do the couple of very annoying stitches I missed. It will only take me a few minutes to finish them but to be honest I really cant be bothered..... Someone give me a kick up the butt!
In more positive news ITS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!!! Im now 25 years old ,admittedly I do feel like im 75years old. Im off for a coffee with my mum and one of our friends.

I stitched...finally!
I finally managed to stitch. Since my last update I had to have a unexpected operation. The operation itself was a day case, which went well. The only problem was while coming round from the anaesthetic I bit through my lip. From the front to the back. By the time I had left hospital that night it was infected.
Over the next few days I couldn't eat and slept constantly. My face swelled up. I had a fever, couldn't concentrate, shivers and was constantly dizzy. I ended up down A&E. Dehydrated and weak from not eating. I fell asleep in the waiting room. The first time I have slept in public since I was a child, I was so embarrassed! I had a raging infection and have been given Antibiotics.
Things are a lot better now. I can eat almost normally and all the swelling has gone. I can finally concentrate again and Im safe to look after the kids again!
Now I can concentrate I can stitch!
Im loving how this is coming together. You can see where her hair is. Her boobs are there and I can just make out where her arm is. The reds in here is beautiful. I think I will work on the background when I have finished the little bit of red left. Then it will be Her body to do. Looking at the chart is is a confetti bomb! Its going to take me ages to do but I know it will look amazing!
