Small update

Just a little added to the top right corner. Now I can see the full width of the stocking. I am still loving the colours in this.

Its now the summer holidays, I don't know how much time I'm going to get to stitch. We have lots of fun things to keep us busy. I cant believe Connor has been at school a whole year! He was a little bit tearful saying goodbye to his teacher, She is lovely and he got very attached to her.

Esmai now has 9 teeth and has started taking her first un-aided steps. My baby is growing up too fast

Esmai's First birthday!! 13-07-13

My baby is now 1, time has gone so quick.
Seems like only yesterday that I was bringing this bundle home. She was so tiny and perfect. She still is weighing only 14lbs at 1year old. Shes diddy like her brother!

We had a party just some family and friends. We had lots of food and cakes. Played party games. Played with her presents. Had a ice cube fight. It was a really good day. -Just a few pics from the party:

Chewing on a toy

Sleepy snuggles with grandad

Playing on her new rocking horse- a bargin at £5

Playing with Daddy

Pass the parcel

Rainbow birthday cake- made by me

More snuggles with grandad
It was a really great day. Everyone had a great time.
I have done NO stitching, None, at all......maybe when it cools down

Page finish!

First page finish!

I was hoping to post this days ago but everything went wrong at the same time.

Just after we had coped with half term Connor had a massive GI Haemorrhage caused by HSP on Saturday. We took him to our local A & E where we waited for over 5 hours to see a Doctor, When we did get to see him, he went mental that  we had waited so long in the waiting room and within a hour of seeing him we was in a ambulance (being blued and twoed) on the way to a specialist surgeon in London. We got there at 4am and other then the ambulance driver knocking over a small wall and getting us lost we got there very quickly.
There was a surgeon waiting and a blood transfer which thankfully he didn't need. After lots of tests and waiting the bleeding died off and we was eventually allowed to go home. The whole experience was horrible. Not only because of Connors health problems but also the attitude of the staff and the child in the bed next to us in London constantly sweared and screamed at everyone which terrified Connor and Esmai. We are very glad to be home

Hopefully in a few days everything will be back to normal and I can start page 2

Stitching and the Esmai's first trip to the beach

Here is my progress. I would have posted earlier but have managed to lose all the threads i need for the lilac bits,so had to buy some more. I am really loving these colours. Working in columns is faster and alot easier.I will hopefully have a page finish very soon.

Esmai had her first trip to the beach and really loved it. She was a little unsure on the sand but soon started eating !

She also had her first paddle in the sea. After she got over the coldness , she was soon crawling through the water and having a good splash about!

I recently got a new woven wrap so i could do back carrys with Esmai, which is fantastic as i can use both my crutches and not have to struggle or worry about loosing the pushchair, just sling her on my back and off we go! Even my Dad has carried her on his back and enjoyed showing her the flowers in the garden. Connor keeps asking to carry her too but his way too short and not strong enough to, so he settled for carrying his teddy and spent most of the afternoon with Mr Monkey on his back.

Stitching-The Lake

I was meant to update this a few days ago but I lost my camera.
I was getting bored of working in rows so decieded to see how working in coloums goes. It was fster but then it was mainly blocks of colour but made a nice change. I am really loving the colours in this.

We went to feed the ducks although yet again we got there too late and they wasn't that interested.

He was very enthusiastic

Just a little way from the lake is this place,i don't know what its called but its really beautiful. Full of waterfalls and little rivers all overflowing from a bigger river. There are log bridges been made by people but it wasn't possible to get the pushchair across. I thought the water wasn't as deep as it was and dragged the pushchair to the top. The view was lovely. On the way back I walked down the streams which was easier but I got completely soaked and even lost my trainers in a particularly muddy patch. We are going again this weekend but hopefully ill have my new sling so should be so much easier and drier!
