Theres some small progress on the bottom of the page. Some of the shawl (im really looking forward to the next page where its al drapey) and some background. For some reason blogger has turnt the picture round.
The kids are doing really well at the moment. Connor has got very much into Ben10 again. And even spent his pocket money on a Ben10 outfit-which he refuses to take off !
Esmai has started to take a interest in my cross stitching.She has even started to "help" rearrange my thread box.

Gotta love little "helpers" lol what do you use for gridding? I've never gridded before but now I have a haed in my stash I'm looking into it. Xx
Hi. I use a water erasable fine tip pen. I got it off eBay but cant find the exact one I used. Its by far the best I have ever used. Don't fade and is very very fine nip. I did try using threads but I found it very awkward and kept catching them which made removing them very hard. I used to have a pencil but it faded so quickly I was constantly re drawing the grid. Which HAED are you starting?
Thanks for that I'll be on the look for one. I've got middle earth map to do. I'm not one for confetti so trying to get my head round the gridding and stitch and park methods all you folks doing HAED seem to favour.
ooo I love LOTR my dad wants me to stitch it for him but I def want one for me so have a feeling ill be stitching it twice lol. I haven't tried parking im thinking of it for my next start but think I will get my self muddled too easy
