2nd Row done on Yule fairy

The 2nd row is done. It took a lot longer then I thought as my stitching time has been reduced as Esmai has now started waving clapping and CRAWLING!!!! I spend all my time chasing after her trying to stop her playing with the fire place or pulling the laptop over, eating the cat food.....

Yule fairy - Restart

Here's a quick pic of my latest start Yule Fairy. I originally started this a little while ago but found the size of the fabric increasingly hard to work with. I also miscalculated the size of the fabric so the finished design wouldn't of fitted anyway. This is the first row of the first page. I managed to get all 800 stitches done in one night :)

It has been pretty busy round here. We went to LEGOLAND for the day which was loads of fun. Connor got his Driving and Boating licences.

Connor also had a allergic reaction at school on Friday. I was there having a meeting when it happened,  but it scared the hell out of everyone. Were not sure what caused it. He came up in a angry red rash and his lips started to go blue. I rushed him to the doctors (which is just down the road from th school) and they refused to see him, even though I had his meds on me ( I haven't been shown how to use them) and said the best they could do is get a doctor to phone me. I have never been so angry and have made a written complaint to the practice manager. Anyway in the end I took him home showered him down and gave him his meds and his fine. He still has a rash but its going down.

Esmai has really grown

Esmai has really grown. Iwas trying to find a pic of hen she first wore this nappy but its on my old computer. Its not going to fit her for long :(

Mirablia's Sleeping Beauty

Im a serial starter. Last night I gridded up Mirablia's Sleeping Beauty. I've had this kit for ages at least a couple of years and its never really called to me. Mainly I think as I have never done beads before and the thought terrifies me

 

I plan on starting this tonight and when its finished I think its likely to be Esmai's. I might even do the rest of the set to go in her bedroom. I'm struggling to see "Tribal Dragon" and was going to continue on "Yule Fairy" but again the fabric is too small so I am going to restart that latter in the month on a bigger fabric.

 So the next update I should have some stitches to show

Esmais corner

So its not sewing related but I had to show you what I finished today! This is a alcove in my bedroom. I'm so pleased how it turnt out. I have never been able to do a nursery for either of my children before.

Feeling frazzled

I have done a fair bit of stitching though it doesn’t really show as the stitches are so small lol.

I had planned on updating a little while ago but thought it would be better to wait till after half term has finished. Is anyone else completely frazzled by the end of half term?

We have been really busy. We had Mandeville the class mascot to stay and took him on lots of fun adventures. Baking cakes, the zoo, and the park, friends and families houses. We only had one day (after the zoo) where we did nothing.

We have also been looking into doing a mutual house exchange-our 2 bed for their 3bed. But after lots of viewings and us signing all the paperwork she changed her mind L
